Biography
Lydia has over 7 years of experience in personal injury law and has handled a variety of cases. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Science and Technology Studies from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Lydia later obtained her J.D. from The Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law while working full time as a branch manager with the Bank-Fund Staff Federal Credit Union. Following law school, Lydia took a 12-year hiatus to raise a family before beginning her legal career at the Myerson Law Group, P.C. While there, she worked in various areas including civil litigation, family law, administrative law, and creditor/debtor rights, but discovered her true passion was personal injury law. Lydia deeply values the opportunity and ability to provide representation to those who have suffered injury and loss due to the negligence of others.
Lydia is originally from Mount Vernon, New York, but has long resided in Northern Virginia. She is an active member of Heritage Fellowship Church and presently volunteers in several ministries including Sunday School, Hospitality, Community Outreach, Choir, and Intercessory Prayer. Lydia also spent several years serving as a troop leader under the Girl Scout Council of the Nation’s Capital. In her spare time, Lydia enjoys traveling, podcasts, reading, movies, board games, and billiards. She has two children: daughter Jordan, and son, Justin.
